What is 5pm?
5pm is a Scotland focused daily deals platform (operated by Wowcher Limited). It enables users to purchase vouchers that offer savings on products and services when redeemed with participating merchants. Each day, 5pm showcases money saving deals on top-rated restaurants, concerts, events, lessons, tours, spas, salons, hotels and more in your area and beyond.
What do I do with my Voucher?
After your purchase, we'll send you a receipt. You'll then be sent an email containing your voucher which includes your unique code and instructions on how to redeem this code. In most cases you'll be sent the code straight away, but for some offers you'll be sent the voucher code when the deal closes.
The voucher will contain full instructions on what to do next including how you redeem the voucher and the contact details for the merchant providing the deal. For instance, if the deal is for a restaurant offer, we'll include contact details for the restaurant to enable you to book your table. If the deal is for a product that requires delivery, we'll send you a link to our redemption page or the merchant's website where you can enter your voucher code and delivery details so the product can be delivered to you.
You can see your voucher by logging into your account and go to “My Vouchers”
What is a 5pm Wallet?
5pm credit is store credit which is stored in your 5pm Wallet, that can be exchanged on the site towards a deal of your choosing. You can view your wallet balance here:
Just select the deal you want to buy and tick the 'Apply available Wallet Credit' option on the payment page. The credit amount will be deducted from your final payment.
To locate your 5pm wallet, please log on to your account, go to account and select “My Wallet”
What is a voucher expiry date?
All vouchers have an expiry date and the voucher must be redeemed before this point. The merchant providing the deal may have other restrictions which will be set out in the ‘Fine Print’ prior to purchase.
You can see the expiry date of your voucher under "Your Voucher code". It is important that all vouchers are redeemed in order to receive your product or service but don't worry, we now offer voucher validity extension on a variety of deals.
Who is providing the products or services that I've exchanged my voucher for?
5pm provides you with a discount code you can use with the merchant providing the deal in exchange for the item or service listed on the 5pm. When you make a purchase with 5pm, you form a contract whereby you pay 5pm and in return receive a multi-purpose voucher.
When you redeem your voucher with the merchant, you are forming a second contract with the merchant that is separate to the contract with 5pm. Under the separate contract with the merchant, the merchant agrees to provide you with the products or services in exchange for your voucher.
Full instructions on what you need to do post-purchase is always included on the voucher itself and will always involve passing the voucher code to the merchant who is supplying the deal.
I purchased a voucher from 5PM prior to its takeover by Wowcher. Am I eligible for a refund?
If your order was placed before our acquisition, please note that Wowcher is unable to fulfil or provide refunds for orders made prior to that date.

Can I cancel my VIP membership?
You are entitled to cancel your 5pm VIP membership without giving any reason within 14 days after the day you sign up to 5pm VIP membership. If you cancel during this period, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the 5pm VIP membership only. Your refund will be made within 14 days of cancellation by the same method used to pay for your 5pm VIP membership unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
