International Travel Deals

We offer four different types of travel deals on Wowcher; Booking Calendar, Choose Your Flight, Voucher and Call to Book.

Our booking calendar deals will provide you with a range of availability allowing you to select your preferred travel dates. Booking calendar deals will offer you a choice of duration and departure airports to choose from. Once you have selected and purchased your holiday, you will be issued with your voucher codes, which you must redeem within 48 hours. Once you have redeemed your codes and supplied your contact information our holiday provider will be in contact to discuss your holiday arrangements and confirm your booking.

Choose your flight deals do exactly as they describe, they give you the ability to select your flights and build your desired holiday package. Choose your flight deals work very differently to our other deals on site, and give you the ability to purchase a package holiday rather than a voucher. You can identify a choose your flight deal by looking out for the aeroplane sticker.

Once you arrive on a choose your flight deal you will be asked to select the number of passengers, departure airport and duration. Once you have done this the availability will load accordingly. Using the calendar, select your preferred travel date, this will then automatically display the flight included. If you are unhappy with the flights provided, you can select ‘alternative flights’ to display other flight availability. Pricing displayed is per person, alternative flights may have additional costs.

Choose your flight deals are automically confirmed once purchased and the holiday provider’s terms and conditions come into full affect. You will receive booking confirmation within 72 hours of purchase. If you have not received your booking confirmation, please contact the holiday provider.

International travel voucher deals are most common when there are a limited number of travel dates; these are usually used for events or unique deals like Mystery Holiday. Unlike a calendar, these deals will provide you with a drop down list of options to select. You will be required to complete a booking form shown under the redemption information on your voucher(s). We strongly recommend completing these forms within 48 hours of purchase, so the holiday provider can effectively process your booking. Your voucher code(s) will auto-redeem after two days.

Once you arrive on the deal, you will spot the holiday providers telephone number. All you have to do is give them a call on that number and ask them about their great holiday deal on Wowcher. You can then book your holiday directly over the phone with our trusted partner.

You can find your holiday provider’s logo on your chosen deal, often displayed underneath the booking calendar or booking information. You can also find this information within the fine print of the deal or within your voucher confirmation.

Most of our deals are priced based on two adults sharing. You are welcome to purchase a single voucher for solo travel however; the holiday provider will charge a single supplement at the time of booking.

Yes! If you are looking to book more than one room based on two adults sharing feel free to purchase as many vouchers as necessary. If you are looking to change the occupancy of the room, please continue to purchase the two vouchers and speak to your holiday provider about adding further passengers.

The law says your holiday must be protected if it is a package holiday. ATOL (which stands for Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) is a UK financial protection scheme and it protects most air package holidays sold by travel businesses. The scheme also applies to some flight bookings, usually those where you book flights (including UK domestic flights) but do not receive your tickets immediately.

ATOL was first introduced in 1973, as the popularity of overseas holidays grew. After a number of high profile travel business failures left people stranded overseas the UK Government realised consumers required protection when their travel providers fell into difficulties. ATOL currently protects around 20 million holidaymakers and travellers each year.

If a travel business with an ATOL ceases trading, the ATOL scheme protects consumers who had booked ATOL protected holidays with the business. It will support consumers currently abroad and provide financial reimbursement for the cost of replacing parts of an ATOL protected package.

The scheme is designed to reassure consumers that their money is safe, and will provide assistance in the event of a travel business failure.

In the event your booked holiday is affected by a change in foreign office advice, you should seek assistance from the holiday provider as to how your holiday is affected and discuss alternative travel arrangements. If foreign office advice should advise against all but essential travel to your holiday destination, you will be entitled to a full refund for the voucher cost from Wowcher and any additional purchases from the holiday provider. Customers will not be entitled to a refund if the foreign office advises it is safe to travel to destination.

International Travel – Mystery Holiday

The deal covers accommodation and flights only. However, the travel agent providing the deal is just like any other travel agent, meaning they can offer a variety of additional services, such as excursions, car hire, airport parking and meal packages. Utilising these additional services would naturally involve an extra fee for the chosen service(s).

The deal is structured under the premise of "Price is based on two people sharing a room". Therefore, two vouchers must be purchased. Each voucher corresponds to one person, as only half of the accommodation cost is included in the price displayed. Should you choose to travel solo, a single person supplement will apply to cover the remaining 50% of the accommodation cost. This supplement will be settled directly with the travel agent upon booking, subsequent to purchasing the voucher.

If more than two people wish to travel, we advise reaching out to the travel agent directly so they can ensure all passengers get the same destination, flights and hotel.

Yes! If you do not redeem your vouchers, your booking will not be completed. Please refer to the instructions on your voucher for how to redeem your holiday.

The holiday provider will aim to contact all customers within 15 working days of the draw date, however from time to time this deal receives a high level of demand and waiting times can increase to 30 working days. Customers are contacted in order of preferred travel date as indicated by the customer within the redemption form. If you have not been contacted by Weekender Breaks within this timeframe, please contact Weekender Breaks directly at helpdesk@weekender-breaks.com or on 0203 3261 523 quoting your voucher code(s).

Customers will be contacted via text message, telephone and email as provided within the redemption information. Customers are advised to check their voicemail and email junk folders for communication from the holiday provider.

If there's a change in foreign office advice before the draw date, another destination of the same level will be randomly selected for those impacted.

If your booked holiday is affected by changes in foreign office advice, contact the holiday provider to understand how your plans are affected and discuss alternative travel options. If the foreign office advises against non-essential travel to your destination, you're eligible for a full refund of the voucher cost from Wowcher and any additional purchases from the holiday provider. However, no refunds will be provided if the foreign office deems it safe to travel to the destination.

This may be possible, but please note that it could result in an additional fee from the travel agent. We suggest contacting the travel agent directly using the contact information provided on your voucher to discuss your options with them.

The deal is advertised with a "No cancellations or changes once booked" policy. Therefore, if you've given permission to confirm your booking, it's considered final and non-refundable. In such cases, we advise reaching out directly to the merchant using the contact information provided on your voucher. However, if you haven't yet authorised the booking confirmation, please get in touch with us.

National Travel Deals

There are two different types of UK National Travel deals available with Wowcher; Booking Calendar and Call to Book.

Booking Calendar deals will present you with an availability calendar allowing you to select your check-in date at the point of purchase.

Call to Book deals allow customers to purchase a voucher with a pre-stipulated validity period for them to make a booking post purchase with the hotel directly meaning we do not have access to their availability. Once you have completed the purchase you will receive an email from Wowcher containing your voucher and with redemption instructions. If you purchase a Call to Book deal to then find out that they don't the availability you desire you can contact us for a refund here:

If you have purchased a Booking Calendar deal then this has been booked out of Wowcher's allotted rooms, therefore the hotel is not required to send a confirmation email. There is no need to contact the hotel unless you have any special requirements/requests that would like to make the hotel aware of.
If you have purchased a Call to Book deal, please contact the hotel directly requesting for booking confirmation. As the booking is made with the hotel directly, we are unable to see any booking information. Their contact details can be located on their website or on your voucher which can be viewed here: https://secure.wowcher.co.uk/myaccount/vouchers

Please ensure that any complaints are raised directly with the merchant at the time. Please contact us via Whatsapp, you can do this by searching "How do I contact you?"  expressing the full extent of your complaint whilst attaching any relevant images you may have which will support your complaint. Please ensure you state what your desired resolution is and whether or not you raised any of your comments to any member(s) of staff whilst you were on the premises.

If the deal is sold as ‘No cancellations or changes once redeemed/booked’ or something similar and you have redeemed/booked your holiday then we do require refund authorisation from the merchant in order to refund in line with our E-Commerce Terms. If you still require assistance after following the above steps, please go to the section "How do I contact you?" under "How we work?"
